DHL-Sinotrans upgrades e-commerce tools, offers industry-leading integrated express information management solution

Multi functional e-commerce tools meet diversified customers’ demands,

DHL-Sinotrans, the leading express company in China, today launched its hi-tech shipping tool DHL Connect and an integrated express information management solution - DHL XML-PI. With the launch of these new tools, DHL-Sinotrans now features an upgraded express information management solution of unparalleled sophistication, meeting diversified customers’ demands. The move underscores DHL’s ‘Customer First’ service proposition and its commitment to spearhead industry development and stimulate the growth of the express and logistics industry.

DHL XML-PI has integrated the strengths of DHL e-commerce tools, providing customers more choices for value-added services. By integrating various kinds of information access devices such as computer, telephone and mobile phone, the new express information management solution allows customers, according to their daily shipment volumes, to choose proper tools and stay on top of their shipments via computer, telephone or mobile phone anywhere, anytime, which will greatly simplify the way customers manage their shipments, increase the efficiency of their shipment delivery and management.

DHL’s various shipping and tracking tools can meet the diverse demands of customers. DHL-Sinotrans’ upgraded solution also offers plenty of personalized touches. All service features are available to customers on a 24/7 basis so that customers can conveniently access the shipment information at any time. The solution also features a function of detecting all air waybill numbers in emails sent to the system. With SMS Tracking, DHL will automatically forward an electronic notification after the shipment is picked up. Taking into account the time difference in various parts of the world, for the convenience of customers, the system can even avoid sending the notification message when it is late at night.
