Service During China National Day Holiday

China will be on 8-days long holiday to celebrate China National Day from 1st Oct to 8th Oct. 2017. On occasion of this holiday, the 30th Sep (Sat) 2017 will be working day in China based on government’s holiday arrangement. DHL will adjust its pickup and delivery service to cater for local customers’ demands under this holiday calendar.

In general, no service will be provided from 1st to 4th and 8th Oct. and only stand-by pickup service (10am~4pm) will be provided from 05th Oct to 07th Oct. and gradually resume from 09th Oct based on local customers’ needs in different cities. Please consult DHL Customer Service hotline for details. Meanwhile DHL delivery service is only available upon request 1 day in advance, and provided shipment has arrived at destination service center from 05th Oct to 07th Oct. Normal pickups and deliveries will fully resume from 9th Oct (Mon) 2017 onward.

The Stand-by pickup service refers to a moderate service standard that the service is available 10:00am -16:00pm, courier comes in 3 hours after shipment ready, weight limit to 30kg per piece and 300kg per shipment. Shipment export date after pickup is subject to DHL holiday flight schedule, and it may take longer transit time. Most updated shipment movement info is available in DHL official website and e-tracking tools.
